The Laurence Institute of Holistic Medicine

The Institute, which was established in 1970 under the auspices of the Society, is the professional body which is responsible for research and training in holistic medicine including the Psionic technique devised by Dr George Laurence.

Membership and fellowship of the Institute is available to qualified doctors, dentists and vets and other suitably qualified persons as the Institute shall decide depending on individual merit.

All candidates for membership shall have to pass through a recognised training scheme. Three prerequisites are ordinarily considered to be necessary prior to the commencement of training; medical, dental or veterinary qualifications as stated above, a working background knowledge of homeopathy and demonstrable competence in medical radiesthesia.

Thereafter, the candidate will be assigned a personal tutor to complete their training which will encompass theoretical and clinical work leading to a dissertation. Success will lead to the qualification of Licentiate of the Institute and, with further study, full Membership.
