What is Psionic Medicine?

Psionic medicine is an integrated system of healthcare, which brings together several fields including orthodox (conventional) medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, herbal, energy medicine and radiesthesia (the dowsing faculty).  Its main aim is interrogating and understanding health problems, both acute and chronic, and finding the most effective pathway for the patient to achieve recovery.

Where did Psionic Medicine come from?

Dr George Laurence, a family physician and qualified surgeon, had grown disenchanted with conventional medicine’s failure to tackle chronic diseases. This led him to research different medical systems and philosophies to see whether they could provide him with a key to unlock the mystery of chronic ill health. In his reading he felt that the work of three men stood out.

  1. Samuel Hahnemann and his homeopathic method.
  2. Rudolf Steiner, especially in his conception of the formative forces of nature.
  3. E.R. McDonagh and his Unitary Theory of Disease.

A pivotal moment came when Laurence met with Dr Guyon Richards who introduced him to radiesthesia or dowsing. Laurence found that by an extension of the radiesthesia technique he was able to determine the root causes and hence also the appropriate treatment to restore the patient’s health, often by using homeopathic remedies – and so developed the psionic method of diagnosis and treatment of the basic causes of illness that we know today.

The Psionic approach to patient care has proven to be highly successful over the past fifty years, often disclosing the hidden causes and directing practitioners to the appropriate treatment of many chronic and supposedly incurable diseases.

What is the difference between Orthodox and Psionic Medicine?

Orthodox medicine focuses mainly on the physical & biochemical aspects of the body. Based on this, physicians then try and fix what’s gone wrong at the presenting level of dysfunction, often with pharmaceutical medicines that impose their effect on the patient. This approach can create dependency, especially if any underlying causation is not defined and addressed such that relapse on drug withdrawal becomes likely.

Psionic Medicine takes a different view. It considers each human body as an ecosystem based on an inherited blueprint, or organising field, that governs growth, repair and the self-regulating, self-healing mechanisms of the individual. It seeks to define what is disrupting this harmony and by addressing causes and imbalances allow the individual to regain their health.

By identifying and addressing these deeper causes, practitioners have found it possible to resolve even persistent or recurring conditions in many cases.

How does Psionic treatment unlock Chronic Disease?

As we go through life our bodies are challenged and fight off acute diseases that afflict us. Our immune systems are not always successful at completely resolving illnesses and so compromises occur in our functioning to survive and live for another day. As we build up compromise on top of compromise the body falls into a state of chronic “Dis-ease”. Think of disease then as ever more layers choking an otherwise healthy functioning core. Psionic treatment generally aims to ‘peel off’ these historical faults piece by piece.

Why do we use a hair sample in psionic medicine?

To carry out a psionic analysis, we need something from the person’s body to act as a stand-in or ‘witness’—a way to energetically connect with them during the dowsing process. Most often, we use a small hair sample. Why? Because hair holds a lasting energetic link to the person it came from, through what we call non-local connections.

People often wonder how this works—how a sample taken days or weeks earlier can still give up-to-date information. But here’s the key difference: psionic analysis reads the energy field of the person at the moment of testing, not the moment the sample was taken. It’s like tuning into a live signal through the sample.
